Join us on November 11 for the next installment of our Federal Holiday Fun Run Series and every day as we express our gratitude for those who serve!

As always, we welcome all ages, paces, and abilities – including walkers! Friends, family, and leashed dogs are welcome. Don’t forget to wear your PGRC gear if you have it!

• Date: Tuesday, November 11, 2025
• Time: 7:45 am for introductions. Run starts at 8:00 am.
• Location: Watkins Regional Park (Google Maps Link to exact meeting place).
• Route: The main group will run 1-2 circuits of the paved 1.7 main park loop. The unpaved ~3 mile Spicebush trail is also a great option for anyone interested in a trail run.
• Parking: Free and ample. Note: There are two entrances to the park. For ease of finding the group, enter from the north park entrance of Watkins Park Drive. Parking is on the right.

No RSVP needed.

Added perk: Paved loop runners will enjoy a preview of the holiday lights setup. While the lights won’t be on at this time of day, the installations are still festive in the daylight. Time to get into the holiday spirit! (For those who may not know, Watkins Regional Park hosts a lovely holiday lights drive through installation each year. They also offer an annual evening Trot for a Turkey that runs through the lit displays and is absolutely magical and supports a great cause – providing Thanksgiving meals to those in need.)
