You’ve got the right stuff, so join us for The Wright Stuff 8K race Saturday, December 2 in College Park. The Wright Stuff is a Prince George’s Running Club (PGRC) signature race.
A salute to the College Park airport, the Wright Stuff 8K is a celebration of the Wright Brother’s first flight on December 17, 1903. This year the historic College Park Airport is celebrating its 114th year as the world’s oldest continuously operated airport!
Our club hosts this race every year in the month of December. This is also the graduation race for our 8K fall training program, and one of many running programs our club offers.

9:00 AM – 8K starts
COURSE & DIRECTIONS
Course information is tba. The course will start at Herbert Wells Ice Rink – 5211 Paint Branch Parkway, College Park, MD 20740.

Registration costs:
- Aug. 20th – Oct. 19th registration price $35.00 + RunSignup Fee
- Oct. 20th – Dec. 1st registration price $40.00 + RunSignup Fee
- Registration will close at midnight on 12/1/23
There will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS.
PGRC members save $5.00 on the registration fee. If you are not a member, please consider becoming one before registering for this historic race.
The race premium will be guaranteed to the first 100 registrants.

AWARDS
Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers (both male and female) of the race and top finisher in each age group (both male and female): under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, over 70.
