The Winter Marathon Training program will support runners who are targeting a Spring 2018 full marathon (26.2 mile) race. Marathon training includes two weekly supported runs: the Long Run (on Sundays, starting from various locations in Prince Georges County), and Tuesday night Track Workouts at University of Maryland, Kehoe Track at Ludwig Stadium. A third supported Thursday night group run will begin in January. Runners can follow the training plan to complete additional runs and exercise on their own. This is a free, informal training program for PGRC members.
