PGRC Age+Sex Handicapped Races
PGRC has experimented with Ange and Sex Handicapped races. We've
decided that we like them, as they have produced some good races
where the first people across the line really had to run for it, rather than
have, perhaps, a lesser performance but with the advantage of being
a young male. If everyone runs equally well for their age and sex,
the race will be a multiple way dead heat.
September 6, 2003
This race was to the fence and back (yes, the course included The Hill).
November 15th, 2003
Course was 2 loops around Greenbelt Lake, with some lead-in and -out.
February 14th, 2004
Course was 2 loops of the Azalea trail.
Handicaps in 1 minute groups
Handicaps in 30 second groups
If you're over the
top age shown, please send mail to Bob
Grumbine and he'll update the table for you. If you're under
the minimum age shown (8 years), I'm afraid I don't know how to
adjust. (Plus, this is pretty long for 7 and under to be racing.)
